After removing the Ooni Perforated Pizza Peel from the package, we were immediately struck by how lightweight it was (20 oz). The handle was composed of glass-reinforced nylon and was long. There was no concern about our pie going in the wrong place because of the tight hold it had.

We cleaned it by hand after use and kept it inside. This tool cannot be put in the dishwasher, per Ooni’s instructions. Our Verdict

The 12″ Ooni Perforated Peel completes its task and does it correctly! Pies won’t stick to it very easily thanks to its non-stick surface. While putting the pizza in or taking it out of the oven, the long handle gives you the most control. This extra length is useful because it’s likely that you’ll be working with ovens that are close to 800°.
