The Winco Winware is perfect for those who want the perfect balance between a crispy and chewy crust. It cooks a 16-inch pie evenly with a golden crust.
We always suggest seasoning the screen when using it for the first time. To do so, brush both sides with oil and place in a 500℉ pre-heated oven for about 10 minutes. By doing so, the pizza should slide right off the baking screen. We also baked a frozen pizza and found that it came out with a crispy crust and perfectly melted cheese.
The Winco Winware Pizza Screen exceeded our expectations in terms of flavor and texture. It’s also a great option if you like to buy frozen pizza. It heats your pie much better than a traditional pan will.
This is a large 16-inch screen, so be sure you measure your oven space to ensure it will fit inside. It offers a perfect home-size pizza for the whole family. We will say the only downfall we found was the cleanup process. The Winco is not very easy to wash. It’s also not dishwasher friendly, so you have to wash it by hand. We found it difficult to remove melted cheese or ingredients that stuck to the pan throughout the cooking process.
